Dear friend of the Villa de Branciforte Preservation Society,

This includes the preservation of historical landmarks, of the "living history" and diversity of our local architecture, and of significant archaeological features, such as adobe foundations, bricks, roof tiles, burial sites and other finds pertaining to the early inhabitants of Villa de Branciforte. We strive to mitigate the risks of damaging or destroying these finds during the construction of new housing, and we wish that future housing would not detract from the unique architectural styles of our neighborhoods.

Our society was created to make a positive contribution to the residents of Santa Cruz, and to raise a greater awareness of the history of the early pioneers Alta California. Your opinion is very important to us.
